Professor Cor (Marcus Tayor)

The mildly talented language doctorate candidate currently under the mentorship of Professor Cor. A former physics major who quit and changed paths after failing out of Dr. Ratio's class and has a very deep vendetta with him. Family isn't particularly wealthy and he bears the burden of caring for them in the future and is very sensitive about preparing for the future. Would really like to avoid the IPC but can't see a path without them. Works for Starstruck Tabloid as a junior editor and not proud of it, but it pays the bills. Once ate Taco Bell for a week straight off of $12 and had to go to the hospital.

Best friends are a physics doctorate candidate Ada and literature doctorate candidate Finn. Marcus is a good student but is often easily distracted by things he finds more fun. Dr. Ratio has scoffingly said that Cor has rubbed off heavily on Marcus' flippant, irreverent, and overly apathetic but amusing behavior.
