Shaerra grew up on her own. Her mother never new her father, and Shaerra's mother died early into her childhood. From then on, Shaerra worked hard to maintain her own mental and physical wellbeing.
As Shaerra grew, she found that she had a certain affinity for fire magic that was not natural for an elf like her to have, which until this point, is what she thought she was. She, however, ended up finding her natural abilities in both gold and silver magic and grew enven more confused.
Over time, Shaerra continued to train her abilities, but kept her elemental magic on the low, as it was often looked down upon by those around her.

Shaerra's personality tends to be quite uptight and impersonal. She isn't mean though, it just takes a second to break through her more rough exterior, especially considering how much she works, her impersonality tends to be a dominant trait of hers.
When she's not working, she loves teaching and working with kids, especially because she had such a difficult childhood. She greatly enjoys taking time and care when interacting with the younger generations.

Shaerra took a lot of pride in teaching Sylvanni, and enjoyed teaching the eager Satori a lot, however, as Sylvanni grew, there was an element to her which unnerved Shaerra.
Shaerra greatly respected the young Waya, however never really grew to know her all that well, but would have loved to take Waya under her wing.
