Andrew’s Notes: “Like Bolt and Tide, Leif has some sort of strange relationship with evolutionary stones, only theirs involves leaf stones rather than thunder or water stones. Seriously, they look like one decided it was going to be a Psyduck, got up, and did so. Not to mention Leif can act as though they’re legitimately a leaf stone and trigger evolution for other Pokémon! Thirdly, they’re genderless. Like a rock. Fourthly, their shadow is weird. Like, as in it doesn’t fit right sometimes, and I swear they can teleport even though I KNOW that’s not true. They seem to be able to get wherever they want whenever they want, no matter the security and locks involved. And finally…well, like Bolt, they’re apparently in the wrong egg group: mineral. Not field or water 1 like normal, or even grass, just mineral. At this point I’m just waiting for other evolutionary stone Pokémon to pop up - I wonder what the fire stone would be, or a dawn stone? There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it, and it’s only making my curiosity burn higher - especially there’s something keeping my evo stone trio from being able to evolve, similar to how the gigantamax factor does to Pikachu and Eevee that carry it. Only this isn’t dynamax, and it’s not like they’ve swallowed an everstone or something. Something for me to find out if I can.”
