History

Prior to finding out about xyr capabilities when it comes to navigating the dream realm, Astri hadn't thought themselves to be anything special. He was a student, studying astronomy and working to do something with it in the future. Xe didn't know quite what, but he would figure that out when he finished with his classes. His ability to lucid dream encourages him to sleep more, which was something he needed, but sooner or later it ended up with him sleeping more than he probably should, which could have more concequences for him if he doesn't learn to balance his lives properly.

His first time lucid dreaming really tripped him out, but where he wound up he couldn't complain about. A huge, beautiful golden city spanning for miles and miles. In the mountains far in the distance, there was a royal castle made of stone with forest green rooftops, though he couldn't recall actually going anywhere near the place. His appearance was different, too. Rather than his usual brown hoodie he found himself in a cropped cloak and dark grey jumper, and most noticable of all; he had two huge wings on his back, which very surprisingly didn't offset his balance any.

As he wandered this beautiful new landscape, he came across a very loud announcer flying in the middle of the courtyard the balcony he was standing on overlooked, announcing that a tournement of games would be starting momentarily. With nothing better to do, he signed himself up with no prior practice, soon meeting a new friend in the dressing room and hanging out with them up until the first game; a flying competition. Though as they were flying he made the mistake of telling this new friend he was aware of the whole thing being a dream. When their expression dropped and they trailed off, he didn't think much of it.

As xe headed back to the dressing room for the second game, he noted something different about one of the other contestents, taking quick note that they were another dreamer just like himself. They quickly became friends too, after confirming that they were both aware of the whole thing being a dream. Right as the second competition was about to start, though, Astri could feel himself waking. With quick warning to his friend, the two of them shared contacts, Astri taking note of it in his phone before continuing with his day. However, when he went back to sleep the next night, he wasn't expecting to be greeted with the royal guard trying to hunt him down. Now his goal is to escape, and figure out just what the hell is going on here.
