Love Interest: "Sunny" (Sunny has an Unrequited Crush)

Mwezi is the child of Zecora and Luna. 

 Their talent is using the power of the moon to aid them in potion making and the arts. Despite being born in the Everfree forest they spend most of their time in Canterlot helping their cousin Neptuna (And Bluebloods family) in royal business. Nightmare Night was never popular in Canterlot like it was in Ponyville, so Mwezi changed that. Canterlot is now the prime destination for Nightmare Night. 

Twilight has been working on passing over the task of raising the moon and sun on to other ponies, and Mwezi is a prime Candidate for the task of raising the moon. Mwezi is nowhere near strong enough to complete such a task, so Twilight approached her, asking Mwezi to become a student at the school of friendship, and to become Twilight's new pupil now that Luster Dawn had moved on/"graduated". Mwezi did not want to do this. Mwezi loves her life in Canterlot and didn't want to take over the task her Mom left long ago, So Mwezi refused.
