Kirei Ikari

Kirei was born on Wednesday aftertoon of september 8th 2106, much to her father Jiro's delight she was a boy as Jiro was hoping for a son that could be his next predecessor even naming her after himself, Jiro the II. For most of her childhoood she would train under her father as an assassin. She endured brutal and merciless training from her father. Her mother paid no mind as she would always be out with friends always partying and living her life.

Kirei always felt like she never fit in with other people especially boys. She always hated the roughness of playing as she already delt with that at home. She desired something more easy and interesting, even fun as she considered it. Though she didn't make a lot of friends she admired the way women and girls looks. She loved the dresses and other kind of outfits they would wear. She always felt some sense of discomfort of being a boy, even self loathing a bit inside.

By the time she was 7 her baby sister Akoka was born. Around this time her father was more and more busy with his job and her mother would keep up her old habits. Kirei would be the one to take of Akoka. Even though she was too young she still would find ways to feed, change, and tend to her baby sister. The two had a very close bond and as Akoka got a little they would play tea party or doll house. This made Kirei more comfortable and happy, she felt like she could be herself around her sister. She would dress up and even paint her nails. Her mother Haruka paid no mind to it but Jiro was not havng it as he would take a break from his job and go back to training Kirei.

When Kirei became 10, Jiro had her do much more harder training. He wanted to catch up and have her ready to be apart of the assassin family business. Sometimes Jiro would have his friend train Kirei teaching her the use of sharp wires. She considered this man as her uncle as he would visit a lot whenever Jiro was around and was always nice to her even would give her cash as he would often do.

When it was Kirei's 12th Birthday, Jiro had task her with the goal of assassinating someone. Kirei was sent to a wearhouse to find this person. Though very scared and hesitant about taken someones life she thought this would be a way of making her father proud. Once she entered the building it was dark but thanks to her training she learned to adapt to her surroundings and was able to sense her target. Once she got close enough she used her wires to snatch the targets neck and hanging them. Suddenly when the lights turned on she immediately was stunned, in shock and horror she found our her target was the man who she had considered an uncle. Jiro would clap at her accomplished mission as he had planned for this to be her initiation for the family business.

Kirei would never forgive herself as she felt nothin but guilt and regret. Jiro would praise her and even took her out for ice cream the day after but that still wasn't enough to stop the guilt she felt. But by the time her mother went into labor for her new sibling tragedy strucked. The child who was to be named, Goro hadn't made it. The family was mourning the loss of little Goro but because this Jiro left as he had seen their mother defective and no use of making another aire. Her mother would lead to a downward spiral as she began to blame Kirei for Jiro leaving even blaming her for always dressing like a girl. When Kirei turned 15 she packed up her things as she was sick of her mothers insults and emotional abuse. She left with only saying goodbye to her sister, her only best friend.

Kirei had lived on the streets only working small jobs and sleeping at parks. Kirei would soon meet a gang and though she didn't really trust them she had no where to go so she joined them. Kirei became the thing she despise, being a crook. Stealing, fighting, and gambling. She had a lot of pent up anger and would take out on underground fights or people that owed the gang money. However once she was given a task of killing someone she left as it reminded her of the mistake she made when she first killed.

Leaving on her own again she tried to get her act together and wanted to work one herself. As she did this she discovered herself more working on her inner beauty she changed her name to "Kirei" as it ment beautiful which is how she saw herself. Once she became 17 she worked for a bartender who treated her kindly and even gave her a job and a place to stay. Kirei begin to become more and more happier with her life but she still thought about her family even wondering how her sister was doing. Months later she would get a call, it was Akoka. She was shocked that she was able to find out where she was but happy to hear from her. But she soon frowned as she heard that their mother is in the hospitle after having Overdose on heroine. She rushed to the hospitle to see her sister in the waiting room crying the two shared a hug reuniting. They waited till their mother was awake. Kirei happy and in tears to see her

The two of them talked with Haruka apologizing for making her leave and accepting her for who she wanted to be. Kirei would soon move back with her mother as she fully recovered and went to rehab. Kirei would later find out she had two little brothers, Kiryu and Kenji. She often got to babysit and visit the boys, happy to be in their lives. Though Jiro wouldn't accept her transistion she still love him and forgave him not letting her fathers views shape her perspective of him.

One day Kirei would visit a mysterious store with a strange lady in it. Kirei was told this place could help her with her transition as the meds she took had no effect due to her Oni blood being immune the drugs. This lady had a magic book that was able to change her XY gametes to XX. Though this wouldn't effect what was between her legs it still would do the trick for everything else as her body developed. She would love the results and finally felt comfortable in her own skin.

Akoka is Kirei's little sister and childhood friend. Kirei practically raised her through most of her child life as she would always take care of her as a baby. Kirei and Akoka have a close bond with one another. Though Kirei isn't too fond of Akoka's childish antics she still enjoys her company. Kirei always has to be the one to keep her grounded from doing something stupid.

Kiryu is the 2nd youngest and Kirei's half little brother. Kiryu was always a very troubled child who would always wanna fight someone. However Kirei understood and would always try to comfort him. She was very patient with him whenever he got mad or lashed out. She would try get him in a better mood. She taught him how to cook which he would soon even become better than her at cooking. Though it was very hard for Kiryu to open up and connect with Kirei they still loved eachother and would bond by cooking together.

Kenji is Kirei's half youngest brother and being the youngest of his siblings would always be nurtured by Kirei ever since he was a baby. She still treats him like if she was his mother. Kirei likes to check in with Kenji as he isn't as social as his other siblings. Kirei still would coddle him always making sure he is healthy and in good spirits. Kenji would be annoyed by her sometimes but he still loves his big sis even going to her for advise when he needs it which she is always happy to help.

Barka is Kenji's best friend. At first Kirei didn't like Barka as she saw him as a bad influence for Kenji and worry that he might lead him to a bad path. But upon getting to know him she trusted him and believed he truly cared about Kenji. She accepted him and was happy to see Kenji to have a friend like Barka. She kinda treats Barka like Akoka as the two like doing dumb stuff together. Sometimes having to keep him grounded as well.

Jiro is the Father of Kirei, a man who she somewhat fears. She is intimidated by him sometimes but mostly when she disagrees with him on the way he raise the rest of her sibings. They have a rather rough father and daughter relationship. They don't really get along much as Jiro doesn't respect Kirei's transitioning. Kirei doesn't like that he can be unaccepting and disrespectful to her change but she still tries to bond and grow a relationship with him. After all he's done she still forgives him and loves him.

When Haruka was in better health her and Kirei reconnected and bonded. Haruka was very accepting of her change and would always take her to a girl outting. Haruka still was a bit immature as she was always nonchalant about serious stuff which would kinda annoy Kirei as she would also keep her grounded. But they were very close and Kirei couldn't be happier to be with her Mother.
