PERSONALITY
Serious and taciturn, with little shift in outward expression; Raizen comes across as the strict senior who knows exactly where each file ledger is - precisely because she's been part of the same company her entire life. Despite seeming stoic and unapproachable, she's actually incredibly supportive while being fond of group gatherings and jokes. She hangs out with other colleagues sometimes after work hours, taking part in a TTRPG campaign hosted by their department's assistant manager.

BACKGROUND
Raizen was born as the sole daughter of one of the smallest families within the Minamoto clan, founders of the Jinra Exorcists' Bureau many generations back. Her parents served as bureaucrats under Hinode's Radiant Throne and Raizen was poised to follow after them, if not for the influence of her grandfather - the late Minamoto Raiden, a reknowned exorcist who taught her instead the art of swordfighting and exorcism until the time of his passing. Raizen opted to join Jinra after a later incident left her orphaned, binding the great yokai known as 'Sumeragi' to her as her partner.
A great yokai spirit and Raizen's partner under Jinra's contract. In the past, she once served Raizen's late grandfather. As part of their contract's bargain, Raizen has agreed to fulfill Sumeragi's greatest wish.
Her late grandfather led an investigation on a strange case of spirit possession in the Uruna islands. The center of the incident was a young boy around Raizen's age, named Kagaya.
