Yuu has a good friend that she cares deeply about. That being said, for years he - Hibiki - has been off. She can't put her finger on the why, but she can clearly see what's going on. And it does not make her happy. She has cared deeply for him all this time, and yet, his obsession with changing is getting on her nerves.
She doesn't know where he got this idea in his head; he doesn't have to change. He can be himself and deserves to be loved for who he is. Instead, she sees it in his eyes whenever they talk. How his face quickly becomes a plastic mask. She doesn't know who he is anymore, and she wishes she could have her friend, no, her crush back.

Yuu is generally a very nice person, but she has a tendency to lose her temper. She doesn't think about her own words in situations like that, and rarely it leads to blow up fights, though that has gotten rarer over the years.
She isn't very good at conveying what she thinks, and fears that inadvertendly may have been part of what has caused Hibiki to act so strange; did she say something to make him that way? How can she make it stop? Her frustrations are endless.

Yuu has always been particular weak to him, the physically smaller boy always at her side since kindergarten. If he got bullied, she'd throw sand in their faces, if he was alone, she'd sit next to him.
The past few years, though, things have been... different. He's had a change for the worse, and it pains her heart to think about. It seems like no matter what, she can't get through to him.
- Yuu is a gyaru, through and through. She loves big hair, long nails, tall heels, and pink, pink, pink! She's got a good body and she isn't afraid to flaunt it; when she isn't wearing her uniform you'd be remiss to see her with her stomach and midriff covered. Even in the winter, she tends to have her stomach out beneath the layers.
- She styles her school uniform mainly pink, with thigh high pink stockings and a pink skirt. She wears a deliberately lopsided bow and a pink silk choker around her neck. Of course, she wears tall shoes there too.
- She's never the type to compromise who she is, and that's what causes her frustration with Hibiki - instead of finding "himself" she gets the feeling that he's trying to please someone else with the way he carries himself - and she knows that trying to do that will only leave him lonely. She wants to use her own individuality to hopefully inspire him to be himself again.
