About

Everyone thought it was quite strange when the famous radio show 'The Rush Hour' quickly shut down alongside the mysterious disappearance of its host it was named after. However, nobody expected the show to kick back up again after so long, with the same host as before! However, he seems a bit... off.

Rush is a charismatic young virusyte, loving his job as the radio host. He seems to have no perception of 'bad things' viewing the world in an incredibly laid back manner, never taking anything too seriously. However, don't ask him what happened to 'The old Rush'. He won't be happy.

Appearance

What a fashionable host! Shame nobody can see...
Rush seems to always have a toothy grin spread across his face, and his uncorrupted eye is almost always closed. He carries a bounce in his cadence and seems to gesture a lot when he is talking. He often sits inside the radio setup, twirling his microphone cord tail around his finger.

Notes

  • His tail fully functions as a microphone! It's how he records his radio show!
  • He stands at a lofty 6'3"
  • Rush almost always is wearing his hat, only taking it off to tip it to other sytes.

Background

Rush is a virusyte created by the duplication of code, not by a USB. When the virusyte landed in the radio host's setup, its instincts kicked in, sabotaging bits of the show by eating files, causing the show to glitch in places, drawing suspicion from the listeners. People began to slowly drift from The Rush Hour as the glitches became more frequent, leaving the host with few listeners. Struggling, he did not know how this could keep happening, so he searched through the computer. When he made eye contact with the little figure in his audio software, it was all over and the real Rush was never seen again.

However, five years later, when The Rush Hour became nothing more than a creepy story to tell, the radio show started up again. The new host, unbeknownst to the listeners, was a virusyte. This new host, however, sounded exactly the same as the same Rush that disappeared five years ago. He just... acted differently. People still tune in though, some out of suspicion, some out of curiosity and some from genuine enjoyment. He loves his job as the new host and wouldn't trade it for the world
