Esper

Dr. Esper is the head researcher at Lab Zero and essentially S.W.'s guardian. He is serious and no-nonsense with an intimidating presence. He does not humour jokes and has questionable ethics. He has little interest in getting to know people on a personal level; he just memorizes facts about them to use to his advantage.

Esper was a child prodigy from a young age and started working at the lab in his mid teens, working his way up over the years. He met S.W. when they were still very young and is about a decade older than them.

• Has exceptionally good photographic memory and is very unlikely to forget a face and name.
  
• Balances out his STEM side with the arts as hobbies. Paints on a canvas in a semi-realistic style, usually still lifes/landscapes from memory or his mind's eye instead of painting what's in front of him.
• Enjoys classical board games like chess
