Personality

Dholst holds herself in a calm, composed, and stoic manner; in part due to her age and the experience that comes with it, but also because the subtler communication cues of xiixerq are largely lost on other peoples. She isn’t particularly personable, often overly formal or focused on a task at hand- but also not hostile in any way. Her patients receive utmost care though it isn’t always delivered… gently. A stubborn nature and high standards lead to her taking charge of people and situations regarding her job; and you’re only dismissed when Dholst decides that you’re well enough to be dismissed.

Unusual for her kind, Dholst has largley sworn off violence.

Design

Dholst is an imposingly tall (~8ft) bipedal humanoid-scorpion. She is covered in a white chitinous exoskeleton made up of segmented plates, decorated in swirling blue markings. She possesses a long, flexible scorpion tail tipped with sharp stinger, and her eyes are colored gold. Her feet are claws with three front toes, and one back toe. She only has four fingers including her thumb.

She wears minimal yet high-quality clothing; sashes and what’s basically a toga, unless wearing something pertaining to her medical work. Featured prominently is a layered sash worn across her chest- an ornate white and silver cloth over an embroidered dark purple one.

CapAbilities

Xiixreq Features
Dholst is naturally strong largely due to her size, although it does slow her down. Her chitin exoskeleton makes her resistant to minor damage though there are weak points where plates connect and around her joints that lack this added protection. If sufficiently damaged the exoskeleton can be replaced via molting but this process is time consuming, and a lost tail can be regrown.

Combat
Dholst is capable of combat with a sword, but is woefully out of practice. Lacking in speed, she makes use of her strength and damage resistances to win fights- plus, using the threat of a piercing stinger and paralytic venom to better position her opponents, or if necessary, utilizing the venom.

Medicine
She is an accomplished and experienced doctor specializing in the care of a wide variety of humanoids though her skills truly shine in times of crisis, wherein she is the most practiced.

Assets

Saber
A finely crafted ceremonial blade, nigh unbreakable and still highly effective in combat despite its elegant form. Very rarely can it be found on her person.

Medkit
various tools and resources: Dholst is never without basic medical supplies. What she brings with her varies from trip to trip and is based on what she has available to her, but chances are she's well equipped at the very least to keep someone from dying before reaching a proper facility.  

Tablet
Touchscreen tablet which prioritizes sheer durability and battery life above all else. Contains digital versions of all sorts of textbooks, medical records, and personal notes. It is also being used for Dholst's constant work in progress writing project.
