One wouldn't be wrong to call this Detective "Eccentric." That's Kinda Owen's whole thing really. No one knows the man's backstory or really where he came from, all anyone seems to know is both how eccentric the man is (Insane is also a term commonly used), followed closely by how successful he is as a Detective. Since he started taking on the major cases in London there has yet to be a case he hasn't solved. However just because he's successful doesn't necessarily mean he's well liked Owen is after all very direct and to the point with people he meets including potential clients however that also doesn't mean he's honest with people. Actually, Owen is quite confusing on many levels and is hard to understand as no one can tell what the man is actually thinking. His tail is the only other living thing that anyone has seen that seems to be able to understand Owen's strange behavior and the tail can't even talk! Owen is reckless, rude and an absolute headache to be around for more than an hour but he is one HELL of a detective.

Owen only takes on cases he finds interesting and cases that he thinks are boring he won't take on at all which also leads to a lot of dislike from potential clients but again Owen just doesn't care. It's not to say Owens a bad person but that's also not to say he's a very good person either. Owen walks to the beat of his own drum in every situation and it would take someone with the patience of a literal saint to be able to handle Owen on a daily bases. Not including his tail which has no choice in the matter. Owen Refers to his tail as his "Assistant" during every investigation where other people are involved which the tail though not able to speak against it doesn't appear to like them being referred to as such.
