Chapter i. Early life
Forrest was raised by their father and stepmother; they never knew their real mother, who passed away when Forrest was about four. This loss caused them to develop a tendency to push people away. Growing up, they were always the odd one out, often seen sitting alone at lunch or receiving strange looks in the hall. Whenever someone attempted to get close, Forrest inevitably pushed them away. Their parents, concerned about this behavior, sought help from psychiatrists, but nothing seemed to work.
Chapter ii. University
For Forrest, university marked a significant turning point. They began to encounter new people and forge friendships, despite their initial attempts to push others away. Surprisingly, these friends remained steadfast and genuinely cared for Forrest. Over time, they grew incredibly close, engaging in adventurous activities like sneaking out and exploring forbidden areas of campus together.During one of these escapades, they stumbled upon a brilliant red gemstone that seemed to beckon Forrest. Upon touching it, Forrest was consumed by a surge of wrath, granting them heightened strength and agility. However, this newfound power came with a cost; Forrest couldn't discern friend from foe while under its influence. Strangely, none of their friends seemed affected by the gemstone. As they delved deeper into their explorations, they uncovered more gemstones, each with unique effects on different individuals. Through these discoveries, Forrest and their friends began unraveling the mysteries hidden within their university.
