Sorrell is a quick decision maker, being a combat medic has taught him to always be prepared, even when people are the most prepared you can still get badly injured. He knows that time can be very important so being able to swiftly make decisions when keeping your allies safe is a very high priority to him.

Sorrell believes wholeheartedly that due to his innate magical ability to heal others allows him an edge to protect others and keep them safe, he is sure this makes him special and thus he feels like it's his responsibility. Though he is painfully aware that he cannot heal or save everyone, that won't stop him from trying his best regardless. This sense of duty is why this Aromatisse became a doctor for hire eventually joining Team Everbloom Assembly.

As an older gentleman, Sorrell tends to be more relaxed, mature and unbothered by stressful life scenarios. His experiences as a traveling medic has led him to see a lot of strange things and happenings. This calm disposition allows him to make critical decisions much more easily without being overwhelmed.

Most doctors will choose to be stiff and formal when it comes to treatment but Sorrell firmly believes that it perpetuates the stigma of doctors being scary to the general audience. He would rather be silly and make his patients laugh and smile rather than follow the normal trend. His chosen attire for some can already be perceived as unsetting so he thinks it's best to keep an informal and relaxed atmosphere when treating people. He believes that remaining calm and open hearted with friends and patients will allow his sincere hope for their better health to shine through.

Sorrell spent most of his childhood and part of his adult life researching and learning about all forms of medicine he could, from the magical to the mundane. He is far from knowing everything he could in this field but is proud of what he has learned and the strides he has made in his field of study. He always wants to learn more about it and is always open to hear from others what they know.

Stubborn as a mule, he refuses to give up on people especially if those who are injured or sick. A firm believer that if he doesn't have a cure now that in the future it will be possible to make or find one. He will try to the bitter end to see someone's health improve even if only a little bit, any progress is still progress. He thinks that no one should be hindered by an injury or illness, everyone should be able to live their lives to the fullest.

If given permission or flirted with, Sorrell is quick to give a saucy quip in return. Openly flirting with any and all parties who show an interest in the strange doctor. After all it's just good fun so why hold back.

Sorrell will never throw the first punch, firmly believing that conflicts can be resolved without violence. Unfortunately this is not always the case, he would rather only fight back in self defense than cause harm to another person. If needed he will assist though probably with status effects and temporary ailments.

History

Born in the rural town of Lindt on sweetful island, in his youth Sorrell was often bedridden having a slightly weaker immune system than most average citizens, this kept him mostly isolated but it didn't stop the initial spark to learn about medicine from the books he could get his hands on. He had few friends but that was good enough for him, his dream was to become a doctor and help others who were sick like himself. As he got older and with the help of the island's doctors the spritzee evolved and got a bit healthier though he would most likely have to use a mask most times when traveling. He was fine with this condition since it still allowed him the ability to go out and be around others, many avoided him as the mask was unsettling to some, assuming that he must hide his face for an ulterior motive. Eventually getting married to one of his childhood friends and having a child, the pair would open a clinic using the natural resources of the island to make medicine. Unfortunately this would not last as only a few years after an unknown illness would take the lives of his wife and son, quickly and suddenly. After some time in mourning, he would pass the clinic down to a lovely pair of siblings who shared his same passion and become a traveling doctor.

It has been five long years since he started his work as a traveling doctor, helping those who he could reach however he could. After a run in with a ditto named Outis on a boat headed to faerie's grove, he offered his services as a bodyguard to the flamboyant individual. It wasn't the first time he had played bodyguard for many others but the ditto sparked his interest with how unique they were. Once they had reached their destination, he would begin to help those injured by the commotion made by the exploud rampaging nearby, Outis had slipped away during this time. After seeing the two young rescue team leader's take the lead and bring calm to the grove, he would offer his service to the duo. Much to his amusement he would also find that Outis had joined the little crew, the older man was excited to see this little adventure unfold.
