Bernard

Bernard or Bernie for short is the main rival of Obediah in terms of election in Santo Desperato. He was known for being the perfect candidate for a mayor, as a long-term follower of the Court ideals and someone suscetible to pass forward their morals and dogmas. He would even repress his own characteristics in order to achieve his goals.

Description

Bernard is tall and has a more skinnier body type. He've got a clear tanned hair and a pale toned skin, aswell as a full beard and caramel colored eyes. He has a small dot under his left eye.

Personality

Has a quite snarky and provoking personality aswell as an insistent and inconvenient behaviour. He's egocentric, toxic and a sarcastic person, with a passion for being always on the top and a lot of a narcissist guy. He likes to mock around, with a crooked grin and can and will make fun of others if we want to. Bernie is a talebearer and even the Court suspect he's not a 100% trustable person but still, he has a devout bloodline. Knows exactly how to act in front of the right people and can even force fake crying and such to win others empathy. He has signals of megalomania and an apathy for other people. Bernard also has a direct obssession with Obe in specific and he's the main reason for him to be so much crazy and possessive about the mayor position and to be recognized as someone. What he truly wants is much more vicious though.

He used to be Obediah's best friend.

Other

Bernard has a pet snake called Esmeralda (Esmée), a green boa (corallus caninus) and he likes to spoil her a lot. As wild life in the Valley is unexistent, animals like those are super rare and ways to get them as pets are extremely difficult and expensive. Bernie got her in a trade with drug dealers.
