Ever since their first meeting, he has hated Einri. The hatred started with knowing that he was a witch, and just grew more and more with time as the man kept getting in his way not to mention that he's stuck with him whenever he goes. Even when the choker that kept him next to his side broke, believing he would finally leave him be, he still decided to stay. He only decided to keep the man be near him due to their pact that will end once Rowan gets what he wishes to finish in the future, be it sooner or later. He believes the talk of love that Einri spews every now and then is nonsense, and would rather that he stops with it, as he doesn't wish to be loved, less so by someone like him. The only relationship he will acknowledge is that they sleep together, but simply for mutual benefit as they both "desire" to have human contact with someone else. Normally he'd find someone to spend the night with, obviously not possible with Einri getting in the way of even deciding who he can spend time with or not. With him pushing his nerves more and more he's become less patient and more easily annoyed, to the point of wanting to work on his plans sooner than he wishes to. Perhaps then he can find some peace, and favorably without Einri by his side.

For a while now Leta's been accepted onto his crew as crew member, and even while he dispatched everyone else to go back to their families while he's busy with personal stuff, Leta still wanders around with him. Due to him having a soft spot for younger ladies due to his younger sister, he can't push her away as easily as he would usually. He still treats her as a crew member and orders her around here and there, but still makes sure she's safe and sound and that she doesn't get in trouble.

Even when learning that his beauty wasn't that of a womans, but that of a man, it still didn't change his mind about him. Even with his hatred for witches, the strange feeling he felt towards him didn't change, rather it grew stronger and stronger.
