Einri is a man who longs for acceptance and to feel as if he belongs in the world. This is due to varying personal circumstances in his life, however Einri has kept himself hidden away from the outside world through living like a parasite between families to feel needed and loved, using his magic to appear as a family member to them until the magic wears off and he must flee to another home. Because of this, he is naturally perceptive- for he prefers to take to family homes of the rich, where he can live without worry for money or poverty.
Through his faults, Einri is very innocent, pure minded. His views and wishes, as well as his little experience in the world makes almost every street situation a new one, and he has little idea how to deal with it. His needs and wants are very innocent, and he views most things with a simple mind. This innocence is alluring to some, not only because he has good looks. However, due to this trait he can appear very immature, not viewing certain things in a realistic view and often causing arguments as he believes in his own view.
Because of his desire to belong, he is extremely needy and dependent on those he views as being able to fufill his desire. He will do whatever it takes to keep them close, and need him as much as he needs them.

Their first meeting, Einri viewed him a kind man. Their second, Einri hated Rowan. Rowan, who hunted down Einri where he was living at the time, chased him and collared him all because he was a witch. Einri viewed him as the real monster and vowed he would make him miserable. Even as he was dragged from place to place, aboard his ship, even as he learned his desire, even as he found his secret. Einri hated him entirely, even as he rescued him countless times, even as he began to feel like he belonged, even when he began to long for his attention, even as he began to care for him. Perhaps it was stockholm syndrome, for when the collar binding him to Rowan broke, he kept it a secret until he begged for him to replace it. Rowan was just as lonely as Einri, he realised. Rowan was just like him, perhaps they could find happiness together? Einri hadn't realised he loved him right away, until his whole world began to revolve around the man and he grew jealous, anxious, and desperate despite knowing Rowan was not a man capable of real love. He felt sorry he wished misery on him, for now all he wants is to be happy with him. The two have even made a pact, where Einri cannot kill him until they have fufilled Rowans wish, then they'd die together. However, Rowan's death is the last thing Einri wants, and he hopes to change his mind before it's too late.
The kid Rowan insists on travelling with. She's far too friendly and a pain to deal with. Einri doesn't understand why he keeps her around but wants to push him away.
Einri thinks hes very pretty, mature and beautiful. What he can't wrap his head around is why Rowan has a fixation on the man. What makes him better than him? More alluring? Is it because he is someone unnatainable? He can't understand and so he feels very inferior to the man.
A witch older than himself and even more childish in ways. Einri does not consider her close enough to be a friend, however he enjoys talking with her time to time. Sometimes, the things she does and says is offputting, but Einri chalks it up to her experience as a witch and her long life making her jaded in some ways enough to find fun in weird ways. Recently her advice makes him uneasy.
