Mila

After the fall of the Kingdom of Sky, Mila fell down from the cosmos as a new child of light, venturing through the realms. After her first rebirth, she began to explore the realms more, not exactly keen on returning to Orbit. While in her adventures, she was fascinated by the dark creatures that wandered the land. How creatures, once friendly, came to be corrupted and now seek violence against the light. How a small cat could be powerful enough to inflict corruption and send Skyfolk billowing backwards. How these large, dragon-like creatures could fly through the sky and how they indiscriminately hunted any creature made of light. She was enthralled. What interesting creatures! She had to know more. 

On her own time, she began to venture to the more dangerous lands of the fallen kingdom, carefully observing and studying these dark creatures. With notebook in hand, she would jot down notes and any observations she made about these creatures, no matter how big or small. Her fascination with the dark creatures didn't stay secret long, however. The Prairie Elder scolded her lack of self preservation and told her to stop visiting those creatures, for fear of her own safety. Mila, however, was a rebel at heart and just scoffed. This was her passion now. Something she held very dear to her. 

"If my research can save even just one life from the jaws of these predators," she argued, "then isn't the danger I pose to myself in pursuit of this knowledge worth it?"

Though begrudgingly, others saw her reasoning and conviction and stood behind her. Backed by hundreds of Skyfolk who now wished to know more about how to survive against the dangers lurking in the realms, she continued her research, even going so far as to publish multiple field guides on how to survive the lands. 

She now lives in Aviary Village with her adopted baby krill, Noka, in her studio, and holds seminars and group field studies to teach the newer and younger Skyfolk how to survive against the darkness lurking in the shadows.
