Noka

Noka is a much-smaller-than-average baby krill, found by Mila as an egg in the Graveyard within the Golden Wasteland, then later hatched within the Light Whisperer's residence in the Wind Paths. When his egg cracked open, Mila was the first face he saw, and, as an unknowing infant, assumed she was his mother. Mila instantly fell in love with the small little krill, and, with some convincing, decided to take him home with her, vowing to take care of him and study the upbringing of a krill within Skyfolk society, wondering if it was possible to domesticate them (it's not, really).

Through taking care of Noka, Mila has been able to study his behaviors and found that krill are, in fact, omnivores! Mila built a large greenhouse at her old house (now office studio), raising lots of different light plants to sustain and care for Noka, keeping him nice and healthy. His favorite foods include light birds and light fungi. 

Noka is far smaller than average for his species, still only about 3-4 ft (91-122cm) in length from the tips of his horns to his tail. Mila believes he will never grow any larger than a light manta, but honestly that's probably a good thing. When out and about, he usually lays wrapped around on her shoulders like a scarf. This also makes it easier for Mila to keep him under control when he starts getting aggressive towards others. Noka may be small, but he has a lot attitude in that little body (and a biting problem). He also hasn't figured out how to fly yet. Air Jail is a very effective punishment at the moment.
