High-society/underground mafioso business man. He is sadistic but has some masochistic tendencies. Chronic fatigue syndrome, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia. He is indifferent towards his employees and sees his guards as expendable. However, he developed a tit for tat relationship with one of his bodyguards, Beck. While the two, on the surface, couldn't care less if the other died, they would undoubtedly be lost without the other. Their true feelings will always be revealed when the other is near death. While this volatile relationship will leave each with physical and mental scars, they, of course, regrettably grow old together.

Occupation: Chairman of Rudyard Construction, which has ties to the underground world as they traffic drugs, weapons and people
Personality: Sadistic trash who doesn't care who he has to step on to attain power and wealth. His intelligence allows him to be the puppet master of the company. However, he had a difficult past that he only wishes he could forget. He is emotionally unavailable but will smirk at people he finds interesting and will only rely on those who want nothing from him.
Traits: Blind in his right eye from blunt force trauma which occured when he was kidnapped as a teen. Because of this, Beck will always be seen on his right side. Beck is his eye, but also his blind spot.

Malchance and Beck are based on a cobra and a mongoose, specifically inspired by Rikki Tikki Tavi by Rudyard Kipling.
