Throughout his life, he's seen many suitors but due to the chaotic magic that Ruž was born with, each marriage attempt has ended catastrophically. Deemed a threat to himself and those around him, Ruž is sheltered and kept within the confines of the castle, with his royal attendant, Aurantius by his side. Despite his freedom being so heavily restricted he lacks the awareness to realize how much better his life could be and happily accepts the invisible restraints put upon him.
Aurantius accompanies prince Ruz at every waking moment to ensure his safety and happiness. The prince loves his presence and is entirely oblivious to his attendant's past. They are so close that everyone around them assumes they are in a romantic relationship, however the pair are unaware of these rumors.
