Gravity Well Generation
ASTRAL is a naive newcomer to the world of do-gooding, more of a good samaritan than a true hero. Inspired by Sonic's heroics on her home island and around the world, she strives to help others while experiencing as much of the world as possible and training herself to better control her powers.
She was born with a rare congenital disorder that limits her body's ability to absorb and convert ambient chaos energy and sustain her life force. As a form of experimental treatment, she received cybernetic implants - the blue ribbons around her hair do the absorption/conversion process for her. However, the signature of the resultant energy is very different from her body's own chaos signature, so much of the resultant energy is vented as light through her eyes, small crystals in her skin, or collects as volatile unintegrated energy in her body.
