Orisa Rouno (蝋野 燭砂 Rouno Orisa) is a student of U.A. High School's Heroics department, Class 2-B.

Appearance

Orisa is a smaller, curvy girl with a warm skin tone. Her eyes are large and usually look bored, and her eyebrows are short and round. Her hair has a wax appearance and texture, and sits at about shoulder length; she can easily change the color as a byproduct of her quirk, but she usually keeps it at a dark purple-reddish color. Orisa wears the default school uniform with knee-high socks.

Personality

For a student of the hero course, Orisa is pretty detached. She usually appears uninterested in her surroundings, an attribute only added to by her usual resting bitch face. She doesn't really like to be disturbed either, and tends to get very snarky if she feels someone is trying to nose into her business. Admittedly sarcasm is her closest friend. Witty and sometimes scathing one-liners come pretty naturally. Essentially, Orisa's skin is thick both metaphorically and literally. She's a tough little cookie, stubborn, and refuses to be taken advantage of.

Despite all this, the girl is very sweet in her own way, and makes a great friend. She doesn't hesitate to call people out on their shit, and she's always honest about it - not sugar coating anything or over-exaggerating. Both observant and analytical, she always has a friend's back with a level-headed take on the situation. While not extremely loyal per se, Orisa is steady and predictable in her choices, making her unlikely to suddenly hate someone over something trivial. She likes to set goals for herself, whether in friendship, school, or hobbies, and works toward them at a comfortable pace. She prefers to put the time deserved into things and doesn't rush, but rather lets them build up naturally.

Quirk

Wax Figure - Orisa's body is made almost entirely out of wax. She can manipulate her body in the same way one can manipulate a hunk of wax, and can do the same with wax that's not part of her as well, as long as she has come into contact with it.
Advantages
• Being able to manipulate wax to an extent outside herself once she has touched it, she can shape and move small pieces of wax to use for various situations.
• She can use parts of her body or extra wax to form a temporary adhesive. She can seal doors shut, trap an opponent to the floor or a wall, or simply seal letters. Most commonly used to buy time.
• As she's made of wax, Orisa can actually reshape her features to look like someone else, including her face and even her body type - but she does need extra wax if she needs to become taller or bulkier.
Disadvantages
• Without her hero suit, Orisa is weak to external temperature. Things get too hot and she'll become melty and have difficulty staying upright; too cold and she'll become rigid and struggle to move. Her normal melting point is a little above 40°C, but with her suit on she can manage up to 100°C. She tends to avoid fire and ice quirk users.
• As she cannot create wax, she has to supply it. Should she run out of her external wax supply, Orisa may be forced to use her own body material in battle. This causes her to shrink physically, and use of too much is extremely dangerous, as she is using up her bodily material. She can use wax to grow herself back up to normal, but the process takes time and rest to work best.
