young noble fire demon; likely a mephistophilian prince (child of one of hell's many kings). his family was deposed - not sure if by the populace or a neighboring kingdom - a few years back and the remainder have been hunted and killed. Marvel is one of the last survivors, and has been caught and sentenced to death when the sin beast Avarice pays him a visit and invites him to the Deathmatch as a form of meager mercy.

makes friends with kazzie? somewhat unintentionally; elemental demons are one of kazzie's weak points bc they cant really be physically harmed in their enraged state, and marvel kicks their ass. they beg mercy in a way that strikes a chord with marvel and he seeks them out afterwards.

when he activates his abilities his body parts are overtaken by and become made of flame. he's still young so he probably doesnt have a full "elemental" form as it were but his tail will become a rope of flame, his forearms will light, his horns will become jets of flame (and perhaps his head will turn to a fireball at his peak power? at least his hair lights up)

marvel is sweet and a lot more mild than most arrogant, stuck-up princes. he's seen some shit lol
