An antisocial satyr demon who turned to necromancy at an alarmingly young age. The locals took offense to a necromancer’s presence in their city and the king suggested that Kazzie leave - they declined, shall we say, and were thrown in the dungeon to be put to death instead for their attitude and insubordination. Then the sin beast Avarice pays them a visit, and offers them a deal to fight in his tournament. Kazzie accepts with little hesitation: they think they can win - and honestly, deep down, don’t care if they die.
necromancy is powerful magic that has heavy tolls - they are able to do a lot of very frightening stuff at the cost of their own body. kazzie has an unhappy relationship with their abilities!!! necromancy takes a few forms but is primarily focused on magic stored in bone: they can animate and warp full-body skeletons and command them, they can warp their own bone at will, and they can magically control bones in other, living people's bodies - this comes at the price of it becoming theirs and affixed to their own body. any necromancer will gradually become covered in extraneous bone as they continue using their powers and it will slowly drive them mad from magical overload
Kazzie is prickly and openly distrusting. As expected from a necromancer they don’t often flinch at being openly hostile, but under their armour they’re just a kid who has nobody and has had to figure out quite a lot of their life on their own. they know necromancy has them on a self-destructive path and are scared of it. they hate their appearance and the public reaction to their presence and compensate/cope by being very meticulous about their fashion and presentation.

DJ - squad leader. trustworthy and steadfast and only sometimes a bullheaded idiot.
Clarion - squadmate. annoyingly blunt but tolerable, they GUESS. he's strong and reliable enough.
Marvel - another fighter and empathetic to Kazzie's trauma. he's alright. they're friends.
Wynter and Vittori - he doesnt like these guys. they're really annoying <3

Abilities
> as a necromancer, harnesses the inherent magic in demons’ bones and can use it to manipulate the bone structure itself. they’re not limited to those, ah, no longer in use, but they do all of this by magically fusing said bones to their own body and incorporating them into their magic system. fun!
> can warp the shape of their own bones and change their function at will (within reasonable limits volume-wise)
> can bind full, stripped skeletons and puppet them. this requires that they magically claim one of the bones as their own and fuse it to themself. kazzie personally likes to use a density reduction trick to shrink their skeletons and keep them in jars.
> is able to claim and manipulate the bones in living demons; magically claiming one can allow them to manipulate a few bones in its immediate vicinity as well. they permanently take the bone from the demon’s body after this.
