Gatlega Morboa is the party alchemist for a group of Decemvirate hopefuls in the Pathfinder Society, a guild of heroic adventurers that studiously document their travels in journals that magically copy to a duplicate journal back at headquarters in the great city of Absalom. Though the Morboa name is well-known for elixirs and potions due to her mother's position as a famed merchant, Gatlega is more of a mutagenist, bomber and poisoner.

About
Gatlega Morboa is the eldest of her single mother's three children. Her younger sister, Vrendrem "Vren", fled to the north to make her fortune and her baby brother, Kebrint "Kees", is an aspiring bard who she keeps in contact with. As gnomes they're drawn to adventure, but as one of the most noteworthy alchemists amongst the common folk of Absalom... her mother, Fethrom, has made her choice to remain in the city for her career, though it will likely bleach her. She'd like Gatlega to carry on the family trade exactly as she would have once she's proven herself as an alchemist. Gatlega will not die for a quiet life as Absalom's potion master. She'd rather meet her end fighting a powerful foe with experimental weaponry than waste away creating the same exacting formulae day after day.
Current Campaign
After testing into the Pathfinder Society as a new initiate, Gatlega was randomly assigned to a team of four -Xez, Isvel and Clove- and given apartment space at the Pathfinder Society (managed by RA Griffin- Champion of ???). Their 1st mission outside of Absalom took them to solve a magical murder and theft, but when Absalom was sieged by swarms of undead they were the only pathfinders available to search for the source of the army. The party was promoted to full pathfinders immediately and sent into the underdark where they still remain. During their travels in The Darklands so far, Gatlega has lost an arm, Clove has uncursed a holy glaive of Atreia, Isvel's half-orc puberty began, Xez has acquired a slight shroom addiction and the party has gained two new travelling companions: Aratau Cliffwalker (lizardfolk conjurer) and Dahmin (necromancer trapped in his own spellbook).
Hopes and Dreams
She'll go to any lengths to defend her home, Absalom, specifically from the undead siege right now, but from anything that threatens it. Gatlega desperately wants to legitimize mutagens and explosives as alchemy. To do that, she plans to become a greater alchemist than her mother. It was Clove that gave her the idea that joining the Decemvirate, as the most powerful pathfinders, will prove her worth. Other than that... I dunno, might f*ck around and slap the starstone to become a god and fistfight Tar-Baphon: the Whispering Tyrant, Lich King God.
