n his youth, Illyrica suffered under a cruel king that oppressed and exploited his subjects. He chose to take up the sword to kill the man, and eventually succeeded. He loved the shower of praise from his peers and the respect he gained, so he decided to take his skills on the road to help others. He fashioned himself as a roaming hero, cleansing the world of wickedness and evil (and if he happened to meet a nice girl in a local bar, he might embellish this a bit...). He was reckless, filled with boundless youthful energy and aspirations. He charmed people wherever he went, and would've continued his trades for as long as he could.

Unfortunately, nothing lasts. The plague came, and Lyri's job was done for him - and more. Innocents decayed and rotted away. Lyri, careful to avoid what was sweeping across the land, fled from his people and towards danger. He lived, miraculously, in the caves that propagated the foul sickness. Now, he roams beneath the surface, hunting down the husks that destroyed his civilization. He holds no mercy nor gentleness in his heart. All that remains is unfulfilling vengeance.
