About
SOL and KOI were the cloned subjects of Aster’s plot for human testing. They consider eachother as brothers/twins, and were inseparable until their escape from Kinethkan. The twins hijack a spaceship in a chaotic sequence of events, only to crash on an unknown planet. Koi is critically wounded, leaving Sol to defend himself and his brother.
Sol and Koi soon find themselves on an alien colony starship. They have been taken in while Koi is treated. During this time, Sol becomes very protective over Koi. Two weeks into the space voyage, the ship encounters a rift and is torn apart. Sol and Koi are separated.
Sol lands on the industrial world of Dedomesh. He lives and survives on the streets, with only worn down robots to call his friends. Eventually, Sol decides to try to get a job. He names himself Xander Sullivan, and is hired to work in a mechanics workshop manufacturing spaceship parts. Eventually, Sol decides he wants to go out into space, and isn't going to let anyone stop him.
Over time, Sol makes it out into space and becomes a space pirate. He explores various planets and builds a crew, looking for his brother. Though he later encounters The Original, and frames Alex for a crime. Alex is able to figure it out, and drags Sol back to the Lavisians to prove his innocence. However, displeased with both of them, the Lavisians have both Alex and Sol arrested. Sol and Alex eventually escape, and they find themsleves on a strange slime world after Alex uses a wormhole generator. Here Sol meets an old Zarahn named Firestorm. Firestorm becomes sort of a mentor to Sol.
Stats
SOL's red scarf is the sentimental equivalent to original Alex's red jacket. The scarf was obtained as scrap fabric during his and KOI's escape, and is a reminder of his brother.

Would you count a spaceship as an item? The Voyager Blue is a Kinethian vessel turned into a pirate ship. The Voyager Blue is the counterpart to The Voyager Red.
Specialized boots that aid in climbing, can allow the user to stick to vertical surfaces, and absorbs the shock of a long fall. Gravity Walkers are a standard in any adventurer's supplies.
