Butters is just a sweet cinnamon roll who wants nothing more than to make Icey happy and be held. They are more or less a familiar who was left summoned long enough to gain a conciousness of their own, and are now permanently bound to Icey. While they can and will do various tasks for her, they're happiest just keeping her company and being showered in kisses.
