Profile
Deon is a biochemist who was assigned caretaker of two aliens.
He is a friendly, cheerful man who loves baking, watching cartoons, and figuring out ways to help humanity. (Or making small robot toys for children as a hobby.)
He loves both of his aliens, and often acts like they're his children, despite what people tell him. He cares for them dearly, and tries his best to be gentle when handling them.

Oobleck is Deon's first kiddo. He was an experiment who'd been handed down to Deon after the scientist working with Oobleck failed to return to the station after a family leave. (Or so they say). Has a bad temper and doesn't seem to like Deon very much. He lives in an old pickle jar in Derek's room, grounded for life.
Derek is his second kiddo, and one of the few experiments that were assigned to him. They both care about each other a lot. Derek lives with both Deon and Greg.
