Profile

Name: Irmana
Species: Half-Demon (Formerly Human)
Gender: Female (She/Her)
Age: 57
Height: 7'5"
Origin: Zaun (From Noxus)
Personality: Incredibly Strong, Chaotic, Witty, Head-strong, Street-smart, Assertive, and Confident. She has a very bad temper when irked enough and gets destructive during her fits of rage. Easy-going otherwise, but thanks to her stature, build, and mannerisms, she easily intimidates most others.
About: The slums of Noxus were a cruel place to learn to survive in, but with enough persistence and will, adapting is possible. Irmana grew up without either of her parents, but she wouldn't let that stop her. While stealing was the quickest way to get food, it didn't solve the problem of her lacking money. So, as she got older, she started fighting for money. Though she started out rough, losing more than a few matches, she knew that she couldn't give up. If she quit, she would have to back to stealing and she would be stuck in the same rut over again. Instead, she persisted, and as she persisted, she got better. In fact, she began doing so much better that after her 14th birthday, she began participating in cage fights in the city. Most of these things were underground affairs, but she knew word could travel beyond it. Though she wasn't thrilled with the aspect of one day being a bodyguard for some snobby rich person, it was her best chance at an actual job and a stable income. However, she didn't know some of the depths said word could also travel to. Before one of her matches one day, she was approached by some strange folk offering to help enhance her strength. Knowing better than to take strangers at their word, she declined and left them, but did not know that regardless of her answer, this wasn't a matter she had a choice in. She would not make it to the match that night.

Little did she know that the people that she had been speaking to were members of the infamous Black Rose, and that whether she liked it or not, she had caught their interest. Within a few days they were running tests and trials on their new subject, making sure to cover their bases before even considering their experiment. All the while, Irmana was refusing to cooperate and giving them as much hell as she possibly could, not knowing her displays of resilience was even further sealing her fate. The day would come and they would restrain Irmana down before bringing out the tools. With much cutting, sewing, drugging, many blood transfusions, and several pain-filled hours, the operation would end. When the process was done, Irmana was beyond delirious, and her senses were off. Her body felt hot all over and her being ached all over from her wounds. They did not send her back to her cell afterwards, forcing her to remain in the monitored room until the next day. Nothing felt right after that, even after she returned. Her body no longer felt exceedingly hot, but instead, her being felt more.. tense. Nothing else was here, but she could not say she felt to be entirely herself. The next time a group of their physicians came to check on her, she demanded answers. They all intentionally avoided directly answering her, and when she was tired of being asked about how she felt, she lunged forward. One of the physicians was entirely too close to the bars holding her in and she would pull them towards her with all the force she had, smashing them into her cell, sending blood everywhere, but also permanently disfiguring and instantly killing them. The others would gather further away while she came to horrific realization of what she had done, dropping what was left of the body and scrambling to get away from it. She slinked into her cell as far as she could go while the scientists before her all agreed, this was a great success.

That was far from the last experiment they would conduct on her, but it would be the last one to effect her as much emotionally. The more they subjected her to, the less she began to care, and the pain became somewhat of a normal thing for her. With time and with testing, she began to be able to utilize more of the abilities they had given her from the original experimenting, including being able to shift parts of her body between her original form, and the shadowy limbs of the demon whose blood they had given her. Not only that, but wounds became an issue of the past as her body began to heal itself, sealing gashes within seconds and even being able to regrow missing limbs without a problem. But not to forget the first thing she discovered, the absolute inhuman strength she had been given was still their priority. Of course, they made sure to push all of these abilities as hard as they could to test the limits and go beyond them. Their end goal was to craft Irmana into a living weapon that they could use to infiltrate the Noxian Military, and by her mid 20's, she was ready. Of course, they weren't about to just send one of their more valuable and volatile assets off without an incentive to behave herself, and injected a chip into the back of her neck that would "correct" her whenever she acted out.

Due to her connections from the Rose, she wouldn't start as a usual underling, but due to the fact that they knew she had the potential to be a wildcard, they didn't pull any strings to give her too much power. Instead, she found a spot in one of the many commanders' warbands for the time being. Though it was very little, it was more freedom than Irmana was used to, and almost out of fear of losing it, she played along, filling her role perfectly within both the Rose and the military. Her compliance was of much surprise to her superiors in the Rose, but they certainly weren't going to complain about it. Her strength and endurance began to gain her much attention as she started helping win multiple battles for her division, almost entirely on her own sometimes. She began gaining a reputation as a merciless opponent, and this spread even to other nations as they continued to utilize her in battle. Thanks to her abilities and, at the time, deceptively good temperament, Irmana would eventually gain her own spot as a commander. When given this, she would resent it, and she even more so resented her abilities and the fact that she had allowed this to play out for so long. As she spent more time lingering on the subject though, she began to realize two very crucial things. The Rose had began to loosen its grip on her, and a more important matter, they could try to pretend all they wanted, but the control they actually had over her was very minimal. Having come to this realization, she began causing issues for them, acting more reckless on the battlefield and displaying more of her inhuman side of herself. She made sure to never endanger her soldiers, but she did leave them with many questions about her origins, and those questions quickly spread. Everything would finally come to a head when her retainer from the Rose would be sent to remind her of her place, and she would send her superiors back his head along with the chip that she had ripped out from the back of her neck.

Beginning to finally realize the depths of the situation they had put themselves into, the Rose realized they had to act fast, and so while they could still pull strings, they had another commander killed and framed her for it. When confronted, Irmana knew what was happening, but laughed it off and even complied with the guards. She knew this was the Rose's idea of trying to get rid of her, but knew they had no idea if that was even possible. They made sure her cell was heavily guarded while they compiled multiple resources, scouring to find if the monster they had created was even still killable. All the meanwhile, behind their backs, a powerful figure would arrange to meet Irmana and offer her a chance at freedom should she be willing to work with them in the future. Originally, she laughed in their face but as she listened further she understood that they wanted the Rose dealt with almost as much as she did. While she was sure she would have no trouble getting out on her own in the future, their offer intrigued her and she would enthusiastically take it. A few days before Irmana's set "execution" date, a riot would break out and without much of an issue, Irmana would slip out of Noxus Prime without a hinderance. The Rose panicked at the loss of such a dangerous asset, and especially since it happened right under their noses without them having a clue of what happened.

Knowing staying in Noxus was a fool's move, Irmana left quickly with the help of her new-found ally. Seeing as her reputation was known thanks to her time in the Noxian military, Irmana would end up where most problems tended to, in Zaun. While laying low would have been the ideal move, it wasn't in her blood. Within a few months of setting up in Zaun, Irmana had gained a following and was known for terrorizing Piltovians in her free time, as well ruining things for Chem-Barons and high class Zaunites. Her and her gang mostly target any one who would take advantage of the less fortunate in Zaun, but she isn't beyond just putting assholes in their place. They are known as the "Rebel Raiders", and while Irmana gets a kick out of running around kicking people's asses, she runs a tight crew, and doesn't stand for anyone's shit. Though, her main goal still stands, far beyond Zaun, and she awaits the day for her revenge to finally come.
