4 | Dreameaters

This type of demon typically functions in society as the assistants of other demons. If not that, they are basically actual sleep paralysis demons. They are intelligent and inherently incredibly good at what they do, which is harvest the energy in dreams and live off said energy. They slide into the dreams of non-demon objects and consume them. They turn these dreams into nightmares when the energy is consumed, and can be traced to the cause of not all, but many nightmares. 

The object form of dreameaters will usually have some semblance of something that would invoke a feeling of nostalgia or childhood, such as a plushie or a blanket maybe. In their real form, they are usually incredibly wispy and distorted figures which float around and are very quick.
