Angel Box | Demons

Demons are predisposed-to-evil spirits/creatures in the Angel Box universe. They have their own system of politics, social standards, language, and culture.

The ‘universal’ language of demons is Infernal, also sometimes called Abyssal. It has very sharp tones and lots of growls in the pronunciation of words, leading to the accent developing to fit that. This leads to most demons developing a sharp, threatening, raspy voice. It is quite easy for most to grow out of it or learn other accents, though.

All demons have a “true form” in which they are what they actually appear as. For young demons, this form is usually not that threatening or is heavily derivative of their object form despite the fact it is really vice versa. Based off what type of demon they are, their form will look different.
