Don't get it twisted. I'm ONLY here because YOU have made sure I have no where else to possibly go. Thanks for that, by the way.

After being unaccounted for in the aftermath of the SAO server room fire, a reported sighting for Jay popped up in the SAO surveillance system weeks later. It appears he is now operating with 'ShiftSec', confirming our suspicions that the explosion and consequential fire was orchestrated with his help. Though his role in ShiftSec is unconfirmed, it is no doubt his tech expertise will aid in their operations hence forth.

Due to his knowledge of several confidential SAO systems and operations, a warrant for his urgent and immediate arrest has been issued. Any and all associations with Jay Nightengale previously had with SAO have now been severed effective immediately. Any SAO employees who encounter Jay have an obligation to report to SAO authorities.

Previous History#

Not much is on record of Jay Nightengale's childhood. Interestingly, it appears he had not been registered to the system until adopted by Joyce Sivaslian.

Jay was brought in as a SAO Trainee in his late-teens after his parental-figure and now ex-SAO employee, Joyce, advocated for his abilities and intelligence with tech. As a potential asset, Jay was offerred a position which he was quick to accept. Though he has been offered positions higher within the company in recent years, he continues to decline.
