Kithood [0-6 moons] >
Outside the territories, beyond the Rogue Shroud, Prophet had met a small group of cats. Sheriff and Lillian happily took them in, and they lived in peace for several moons. When a certain pointed cat turned up expecting kits, the trio promised to look out for each other and raise these kits together. However, shortly after the kits were born, Sheriff died in a tragic hunting accident and Lillian's health failed her. Prophet was left to care for the kits alone.
Struggling to sufficiently hunt for themself, Prophet was unable to produce enough milk to feed the newborns. Left with little choice, they made their way back to the clan territories, specifically CloudClan in hopes that they might encounter their old friend Cirrusflight. They were soon discovered by a border patrol headed by Redsnare, where they and their kits were then brought back to camp. Cheetahstar declared that Prophet would be allowed to stay until the kits were apprentice age; after that, he would make the decision on whether or not their residence would be permanent based on how things go in the meanwhile.
All this took place before Harekit and her littermates ever even opened their eyes. Too young to remember any of this, all she knew was the comfort of the CloudClan nursery... and the inexplicable hostility of one of the queens towards her parent.
