Prairieblush

Prairieblush is a little she-cat with short, scruffy, disheveled fur. She has a lean figure with long legs and soft facial features. She is a tabby, and her coat is chocolate brown and white. Due to training (and general clumsiness), she has various small scratches and scars on her pelt and often gets dry grasses and grains tangled up in her fur. Prairie wears her emotions on her face, most evident in her pale pink, downturned eyes, which can go from tender and sincere to a seething, piercing gaze in a matter of seconds. Her scent is subtle, faint, and slightly reminiscent of honey and old herbs, allowing her to be unidentifiable from a distance.

A young warrior with a sweet & honest persona, Prairieblush comes across as warm and friendly, if a bit awkward. As an open-minded extrovert she is constantly seeking out new friends, and cats typically find her endearing and pleasant enough.

However, Prairie harbors a deep-rooted desire to be adored and admired by her clanmates. This is a longing which drives many of her actions. She craves attention & validation, and will seek it out in any way she can, even when it means giving into peer pressure and making decisions that may be detrimental to her clan. She seeks praise & approval which leads to her coming across as very compliant.

Prairie struggles to maintain lasting friendships with her clanmates despite her initial friendliness. She has a tendency to grow attached to those who show her even the slightest kindness & her eagerness to please can quickly become suffocating. She finds herself in a near-constant cycle of making friends, only to push them away with her neediness and clinginess. This is worse with her romantic relationships, which are often volatile, difficult, & based on attention seeking.

Prairie’s emotional sensitivity is both her greatest strength and weakness. It allows her to bond with others and empathize with their situations, but leaves her vulnerable and open to hurt and rejection. She takes even the slightest criticism to heart, her feelings easily bruised & her self-esteem fragile. When she gets the feeling that someone is disapproving of her, she can become very irrational and sometimes possessive, going so far as to physically cling to those that she fears will leave her.

Despite her flaws, Prairie is vulnerable and sincere in a way that can be charming to those who genuinely care for her. It takes her a while to get to a state where your relationship with her is stable, but once it is, Prairie is truly a reliable & good friend who will stick up for you at any cost.
