Solar Flare【太陽フレア】

Type • Emitter

The ability to absorb solar energy from the sun and regenerate it in the form of fire. Hinata's halo works like a solar plate for her body, it absorbs the solar-derived energy from the sun and conserves it directly in her body to manipulate into cosmic flames when activated.

Hinata likes to implement her martial art skills in her fights since her quirk enhances her physical strength. She is able to launch mid to long range attacks effectively as well, but doing that proved risky as she cannot manipulate the direction of her fire once it's launched, and thus she prefers to keep her fights as close range as she possibly can.

Moves

Fire Gun

Strength:
by concentrating the fire on the tips of her fingers, Hinata can create a blow torch flame easy to control. Useful for combat and cutting through surfaces and objects.

Thermal Blast

Strength:
She Compresses the solar energy/fire on her hands and feet to generate thermal updrafts to propel herself, increasing her speed or achieving a pseudo form of flight.

Solar Aura

Strength:
Hinata can concentrate the solar energy in any specific part of her body to enhance the physical strength and speed of her attacks in a hand-to-hand fight. She can also use this technique on all her body, but the amount of energy it takes to do that is demanding and could result in exhaustion very quickly.

Strengths

  • Enhanced physical strength and stamina when fueled with solar energy during daytime. The flames also add more power to Hinata's punches and kicks in a one-on-one fight.
  • The flames are hot enough to melt down hard materials and metals if said surfaces or objects were exposed to the fire long enough.

Weaknesses

  • Limited energy supply during nighttime due to the absence of solar energy, which makes the quirk inconveniently weaker and limiting. Overuse in this state could result in extreme fatigue and exhaustion if not used mindfully.
  • While Hinata can control the concentration of the solar energy throughout her body, the fire still cannot be shaped or fully manipulated at will when launched.

Equipment

Resistant Suit

Hinata's whole hero costume is made of strong heat resistant fabrics to withstand the flames of her quirk.

Sensor Device
She carries on her a sensor that is designed to measure her body's temperature and alarm her of any extreme changes. Be it overheating from prolonged or excessive use, or a temperature decrease resulting from a decline of solar energy.
Solar Cells
Her hero costume has built-in solar cells that work on converting sunlight into energy her body can absorb and manipulate to use. These cells help aid her with an extra dose of energy for powerful attacks, as well as to keep her stacked with an energy supply for when she needs to use her quirk efficiently during the night.

Personality

Hinata is a very independent girl, and loves being unrestricted by limitations and restrictions, but is not the type to disregard rules and cause chaos. Despite her love for freedom, she is very conscious of the importance of obeying rules and regulations in order to preserve peace and order. Even so, she would never stand by and allow rules that would contradict her personal morals, and has no trouble standing up for herself or others should she feel that a policy is unjust.

She is by no means impulsive, preferring to be thoughtful and careful in everything she does. While this can be a good quality in that she is patient and avoids jumping to conclusions, she can end up overthinking matters that could have been solved more quickly. When making decisions about something she has wanted for a long time, she still ends up weighing pros and cons before she can comfortably make a move, and she may end up losing her chance due to her indecisiveness.

While aloof and often unreadable, Hinata is a very good listener, and is always willing to listen to other people's problems. The advice she offers in return is often surprising, but effective. Her friends consider her to be a great companion-- always available for support, whether as a shoulder to cry on or simply to get together and have fun-- and a constant source of love for those she holds dear. Hinata can also be quite talkative, and is very fond of the kind of deep, late-night conversations that can only be had between close friends.

Hinata is also a big believer in redemption, and willing to give second chances to those who clearly show remorse for their wrongdoings. She will always forgive someone if she believes they truly deserve it and are trying to repent for their actions, but will never offer that forgiveness to someone who takes advantage of her kindness. She is far from the type to lose her cool over small discrepancies, and most people who attempt to provoke her are easily shrugged off. However, when she is truly upset, she shows her hidden, fiery temper, and in shrugging off her irritation, she tends to bottle up her frustration until she can no longer hold it back.

She is an inquisitive girl, always seeking to learn new things and discover more about the world to satisfy her thirst for knowledge. Likewise, she loves to teach her friends and her brother what she knows, finding it a good way to both bond with her loved ones, and to expand their knowledge simultaneously. Additionally, she is as creative as she is eager to learn, and this is clear in both her work and how she thinks. She aspires to be a source of innovation and imagination to all she does, and to be able to inspire other people to take action in their own lives.

Hinata Asaama (旭天 日向, Asaama Hinata), also known as the Blazing Hero: Corona, is a the vice president of Class 2-A at Shiketsu High School.

Childhood

Hinata was born to Kuí and Ataru Inoue in Shanghai, China and had spent three years of her childhood there with her mother before ultimately moving to Japan. It wasn't as easy for Hinata to adjust to these life changes. She had already been a very shy and aloof child, making it difficult for her to interact with kids her age. She often had to resort to playing alone, which in turn only made her more keen to stay at home after moving to a new environment. On top of that, she clung to her father due to the lack of his presence during Hinata’s time in Shanghai with her mother. Due to Hinata’s father-starved nature, it gave Ataru an opportunity to take a hiatus from his hero work permanently just to spend some time with his family.

Hinata’s father was, and still currently is, a big influence on her life and her biggest inspiration that attracted her to the vast, yet foreign world of heroes, thus sparked her dream of becoming a hero herself..

Not long after, the Inoue household had welcomed a new child, Hinata’s younger brother, Hibio Asaama. Hinata was overwhelmed with joy and excitement to finally have a sibling and, primarily, a friend to play with. By spending time with Hibio, she grew extremely fond of him. Hinata had always had a light, aural glow to her due to her halo, but Hibio managed to brighten up his older sister even more. Their bond helped her to finally come to terms with the extreme changes she had been experiencing since a child.

Hinata was registered to attend kindergarten at the age of five, and two years later, she started primary school. Throughout each incoming school year, She became a friendlier and more social individual thanks to her positive experiences in kindergarten. She truly loved going to school and attending after school clubs and activities. Overall, she was a very active and healthy kid.

Middle School

While Hinata had positive experiences in     primary school, starting middle school however, was a challenge. Aside from the crippling feeling of being foreign and not fitting in, the pressure she felt to strive to become one of the best had burdened her because she felt it was necessary in order to make it to the high school of her dream. However, she wouldn’t allow her internal conflicts to stop her from enjoying the experience. She continued attending the kyokushin karate school she had been attending since elementary school in preparation for the future hero training that awaited her.

She formed a few close friendships during her time, but one friendship that stood out from the rest and carried with her to high-school and beyond was her friendship with her classmate Seiho Oogumo. Seiho was always withdrawn and kept to himself unless approached, yet he was the one to first introduce himself to Hinata as soon as he picked up on how uncomfortable and distant she felt in the class. He kept her company and helped her warm up to the class and eventually meet new friends. They both shared quite a lot in common in interest and even personality and truly enjoyed each other's company, quickly becoming the closest friend to each other.

High Schooll

Hinata was still fixated on becoming a hero and attending the number one hero school, U.A, was the next step she had to conquer in order to achieve her goal, but unfortunately for her, that was impossible due to how far she lived from the school, in addition to their lack of dorms during the time. However, that was not her only option, and she ultimately settled on Shiketsu High school as her best option for now, but still was able to match the caliber and strengths of U.A high school. Because Shiketsu was fairly close to where she lived, she opted to apply for it.

With her sheer hard work, Hinata managed to pass the entrance exams with satisfying results and she had made it to the hero department.

At the beginning of her first year, Hinata was elated to finally tackle her long-dreamt hero training and to get to know more about her new classmates. Despite how hard and overwhelming it was at times, she truly enjoyed the experience and loved learning more about the differences between everyone's powers and skills, which only made the challenges more fun for her. Though she still had times where her insecurities started to take over and made her question her own skills and capabilities by comparing herself to others, she didn't allow that to get in the way of her improving and learning from her mistakes.

She was unconditionally nice and friendly with everyone, getting along with most of her classmates and even students from other grades and departments. She didn't like sticking to a single group of friends, but she was definitely closer to her classmates.

Moving on to her second year, Hinata kicked off the year to a positive start by being elected as the class’s vice president, as a reward for scoring the 2nd highest grades, along with her classmate, Nagamasa Mora, being the student representative of the class.

After passing the Provisional Hero License Exam and officially obtaining her hero license, Hinata was finally able to attain an internship in Endeavor's hero office, which was a dream in itself finally coming true for her. Although she didn't get the chance to be supervised personally by Endeavor himself, she was taken good care of by his sidekicks at the office and still managed to learn a lot from them. Hinata continued her internship at his agency and kickstarted her pro hero career there as well, but she decided to end her internship at his office a couple of years after, as she had plans to start her own agency.

A few years ahead into the future, her father helps Hinata build and kickstart her own agency where she ends up forming her own team of heroes.

Trivia
  • Voiced by Misato Matsuoka [voice sample: Mizusaki Tsubame]
  • Hinata (日向) means 'Sunny Place'. The kanji 旭 (asa) in her family name Asaama (旭天) stands for "morning sun", and 天 (asa) meaning "heavenly".
  • The nature of Hinata’s quirk causes her body's natural temperature to be quite higher than that of a normal person's, resulting in her having an aura of warmth radiating for her body at all times. This can get quite uncomfortable to those who have to come in direct contact with her, but also quite convenient in the cold winter as testified by many lol.
  • Fitness was never a concern for Hinata in her school days, all she wanted was to workout just enough to meet her fitness needs to perform for her hero duties. However, after she started noticing her body building and toning overtime, she really got into it and began adding to her workouts to build her body even more. This eventually got her recognised in fitness communities during her pro hero career and as a result landed her many fitness related modeling jobs and the like.
  • Hinata started attending a kyokushin karate school for training right after her 10th birthday. It was her sport of choice to prepare for her hero dreams and goals, but also to honor her grandfather who wished to train her himself but never got the chance to do it.
  • Despite being born and living a few years in Shanghai, Hinata can barely speak or understand Mandarin, let alone Shanghainese. She forgot most of the language but she can still speak it enough to communicate and stay in touch with her grandparents in Shanghai.
  • She can't swim and never attempted to learn how to after she almost drowned when she was little, which turned into a fear. Another of Hinata’s fears is feeling foreign and not fitting in, this is a fear she developed and always hated ever since she moved to Japan with her mother.
  • Her mom's homemade soup dumplings are her ultimate favourite food of all time. French fries are her second favorite.

Seiho and Hinata first met in middle school, where their relationship started. When Hinata was new to middle school and struggling to fit in, Seiho looked after her and the two started hanging out all the time. The two easily clicked and found comfort in each other's company, they stuck to each other like glue, one was never seen without the other. Despite their differences, Hinata still adores Seiho for who he is and for always being there for her from the start.

EndeavorIdol
Hinata first saw Endeavor for the first time on TV when she was five years old and was immediately captivated by how powerful and cool he was to her. That goal of hers stuck with her for quite a long time till she indeed made it to his agency. Her admiration for him didn't change one bit, but she was taken aback by how cold and aggressive he was despite being aware of these traits of his all along. As much as she wanted to work by his side, she was in a way relieved that she was instead working with his sidekicks.

Nagamasa MoraI don't even know
Hinata and Nagamasa have quite an awkward relationship that's hard to label..it started with Hinata's admiration for Nagamasa turning into what she believed was romantic feelings. Being her inexperienced self, she thought that confessing her feelings to him will be better than holding a one sided crush. And indeed, it didn't take long for Hinata to proceed with her confession with optimism, only to be flat out rejected. It wasn't ill intended though, Nagamasa kindly explained to her in detail why the relationship won't work well with the school's strict dating rules and their busy schedule as aspiring heroes. Hinata gracefully accepted the rejection with the accompanying trauma and promised herself to make this the first and very last attempt to be in a relationship ever. Nagamasa and Hinata continued to stay on very good terms and had to keep it professional in school but the awkwardness resulting from that Incident is slowly killing them inside
