Failing to learn breath of flames under the tutelage of Kyoujurou Rengoku, Hinata had instead developed a derivative breath that enabled her to utilize sudden slashes that employed a psychological factor. The longer hilt enables hinata to create the illusion of a bright flash that will throw enemies off guard. With the enemy focusing on the blade, Hinata is thus able to focus on the movement of her feet to create multiple slashes that reflect the appearance of solar flares. This was thus dubbed, "Breath of Flare."
