Calliope is one of the friendlier faces you’ll see on campus! Willful and wholehearted, she’s a hobbyist surfer driven by wanderlust but rooted by college, rarely leaving campus due to her busy schedule. She’s currently studying for a fire science degree, interested in safety and medical care, and wants to be a firefighter. Outside of her classes, she works part time as a PE teaching assistant for her previous middle school. She never hesitates to give a helping hand and is very determined in things she’s interested in or believes in. Always ready to defend you and fight for you, and with that being said she does get into fights easily in the name of protection.
[Magic Details] Calliope is a mundane (purely a human and is not a magic user), but is considered associated with magic users (Halfisa and Sebastien, and unbeknownst to her, Mercedes as well).
- At an early age, her parents were killed by an otherwordly monster who slipped through an interworld portal. it was ultimately ruled as a car accident as there was no telling of the monster’s existence that the police (human) could see.
- Calliope was raised by her uncles since, as Evan and her late father’s parents (Calliope’s grandparents) did not want Calli to go to an orphanage.
- (Her parent’s accident is the reason Terik relocated to their area; Sébastien finds out about the truth while organizing Terik’s reports and realizes it was Calliope’s family. He hides this from his foster family in fear that Calliope would blame her parents’ death on magic users like him and Halfisa.)
- wavy, thick hair that goes down to her chest

- a native english speaker, but also speaks rusty french and very rusty italian (learned them from her parents back in geneva,, which was a long time ago.)
- self proclaimed bubble tea entrepreneur! a huge fan of anything milk tea, she knows most of the boba shops in the city and will tell you which stores are the best. probably has most of the flavours ranked as well
- her favourite food is bisque.
- has experience babysitting during middle/high school, mercedes’ family used to live in their area and calliope babysat for their family at 14 (when cedes was 12)
- she grabs drinks with adrien together after her shifts!
- she’s not very sure how she became friends with ha-eun; despite leading totally different lives, they still became friends through their mutual love for bubble tea.
- really bad at handling spicy food
- surfing is her primary sport. she has participated in surfing tournaments and won twice (when she was 16 and 18), she doesn't compete there anymore though
