Background
Argo grew up in a tiny, very unstable state. He joined the military primarily as an engineer, and genuinely believed in his state when a full war began between them and a neighboring state. During his time in the military he lost both of his arms, were given high-tech prosthetics and training in controlling drones hooked up to his nerves. They lost the war, badly, and so Argo lost his home, his family and his partner. He and a few others came to Kirikya as basically refugees, and he ended up staying, working quite successfully as an engineer, eventually on the ship Stilet. Losing his loved ones, especially his partner, was devastating to him and for a very long time he did not know how to move on, and spent all of his energy working. He spent years processing everything and has come to terms and at peace with what happened. The Stilet crew has become his new family.
Being main engineer, he works very closely with Amelia in particular, but also Gecko and Dutch. He likes to pretend to be distant and grumpy, but he cares deeply for the crew and will step in and take care of them if he feels like he needs to. He is the oldest and most experienced crew member and he knows it..
Personality
Generally cold, bitter, grumpy, actually has a great, albeit dry sense of humour. Very observant, a little melodramatic but surprisingly patient. Kinda proud and can come off as arrogant or snobby.

- Smokes way too much.
- Can repair his own arms as well as any other prosthetics, but is usually too proud to admit when a professional needs to have a look.

- Double arm amputee - uses cybernetic arms instead.
- Tall and narrow in build, relatively pale skin and blue eyes.

Ivan Their friendship started when they both became deserters after losing the war. Having lost everything dear to him, Argo pushed everyone else away, but Ivan remained patient and gentle enough to stick by his side.
Amelia Co-worker. As the ship's two engineers Amalia and Argo work closely together, and, between Argo's cynicism and Amalia's cheerfulness, have a good relationship.
