Osi is an Onu-Matoran explorer with a natural penchant for leadership, a highly protective nature, an impeccable sense of direction, and an endless well of compassion.
Osi was originally an Onu-Metruan archivist who never really cared for glory or credit, and would never submit any new Rahi to the Archives. What she did enjoy, however, was exploration, and she wound up developing an uncanny sense of direction. Though she didn’t have all of the Archies memorized, she knew all of the tricks to getting out of caves, and had successfully guided lost Matoran out of the Archives more than once. This exploration also led to her keeping some very big secrets, as she would happen to stumble upon areas of importance which she wisely decided to leave alone. However, she wasn’t entirely overlooked by the keepers of those areas...
Fortunately for her, before any real consequences of her seeing something she shouldn’t befell her, the Great Cataclysm, followed shortly by the Great Rescue, happened. On Mata Nui, Osi spent some time as a miner, but would soon find more interest in mapping out the mines and finding potential new dig sites and locating dangers before the miners struck them. When encountering natural caves, she would always insist upon going in first to make sure there wasn’t anything dangerous to her coworkers. This occasionally got her into small spats, with her concern being mistook for condescension and her somewhat lacking ability to effectively defuse conflict.
When Onu-Koro and Ko-Koro were destroyed, she banded with her Ko-Matoran friend Aklavu and constructed a temporary shelter at the mouth of a cave she had previously discovered. Both of them would take issue with each other's living intricacies, but they would come out the other side as stronger friends.
During the rebuilding of Metru Nui, Osi volunteered to help clear out the ruined Archives. She made a decent effort and had led to a fair number of the upper levels being habitable and usable once more. However, she would meet her fate through a chance encounter with a Rahkshi, making her the third of her future team to perish.
She woke up later as the Toa Astra of Earth onboard the Red Star, with her Miru transformed into the Miru Astra
