Aklavu is a serious, determined, individualistic, and clever Ko-Matoran whose biggest focuses lie more with hunting and Huai Snowball Sling than with meditation and divination like the majority of her peers. She fits right in with the wild, unpredictable aspects of life on the slopes of Mt. Ihu.
On Metru Nui, she similarly shared little in common with her scholarly contemporaries, her interests lying more with the mysterious events that populated the great city. Her ability to sniff out oddities in day-to-day life gained her an odd form of respect from the Vahki as she would offer her assistance on some of the slyer cases.
She would eventually begin to unravel the threads of mystery that surrounded the city itself, and began to doubt the true effectiveness of the robotic enforcers, but the Great Cataclysm soon arrived, simultaneously proving some of her strangest and most socially taboo theories correct, and revealing just how deep the mystery truly ran.
On Mata Nui, she found little interest in divining the future from the stars, and wound up incredibly bored. She eventually took up hunting purely to give her *something* to do. Despite her restlessness, she had little interest in exploring much outside her territory. Aklavu and Osi had a chance encounter when Osi, having found the mouth of a cave that led to a Ko-Wahi mountainside, popped out of the snow while Aklavu wad hunting in the area.
After that, they went their separate ways, but would continue to have odd chance encounters, eventually forming something of an odd friendship.
