Background
Grew up in a small colony in the Union, in a big family. Was easily overlooked, but also had to live up to a lot of expectations which he did without thinking about it most of the time. Got married young, had two kids and joined the military. Narrowly, and by pure luck, survived a mission he was doomed to fail from the beginning, decided they had asked enough from him and deserted, essentially leaving his family behind, knowing that they thought he was dead. Made his way to Kilikiya as so many other deserters, and worked as a mechanic for a while before joining Stilet.

Personality
Likes to pretend like he's a grumpy old man, is actually a bit of a man-child, very curious, very easily convinced to join in adventures. Tends to be awfully conservative when confronted with new things or concepts, but it doesn't take long for him to open up. When it comes to feelings, especially helping others, he comes off as an awkward dad, though he leans into the role and feels responsible especially for the younger crew members. Not very charismatic.
