Background
Ivan grew up in a very small, young and incredibly unstable state. His family was very demanding, probably connected to what would basically be the mafia in this place, and his life at home was just in general very unstable, unsafe and affection-less. Ivan joined the military as a young man when the war with a neighboring state began, as a way to get away mostly. When they ended up losing enormously, he saw no reason to go back to whatever was left of his home, and instead deserted to Kilikiya, along with other survivors. He met Argo, they helped each other as best as they could, and both eventually joined the ship that would later become Stilet.

He is a very talented cook, capable of making even the most dry, boring rations into something tasty - a skill that is highly valued by the crew.

Personality
Gentle giant. Usually very quiet. Very patient, caring and protective. Has a very disciplined and meticulous approach to work, and rarely ever complains, even when he probably should. Has a strong sense of justice, but would rather solve any conflict peacefully and with forgiveness, and he rarely holds grudges. He is loyal, reliable and willing to sacrifice whatever it should take to protect his family, which the crew has become.
