Roe's parents came from two very different backgrounds. Bleat was the child of a great and noble general, while Blackberry was an outcast of her clan. The pair had met during a time of war between the Empire and the Clans, with Blackberry changing sides to fight alongside Bleat and the other empire cats.
This war would last a long time and destroy many lives. It was during this time that Bleat became pregnant, and Roe and her littermates Oryx, Hop, and Trot were born.
