Basics
Adachi is a rather strange individual. He tends to joke around to “friend” and family. He’s quite socially awkward and would makes puns to break the ice with anyone. Often complains about his work load and can be seen as lazy when presenting a case to coworkers. For so long he has worked as a homicide detective in a very small crime unit in his current sector ever since he graduated from the academy at 23. His work isn’t very astounding, and he does a decent job when given a case. He’s merely just another member of the police unit to both old and newer members.

About
In reality Adachi can give less of a shit about everyone else besides himself and a very small group of people. He is rather sadistic and sees the world as a sort of game. He’s trying his hardest to not die from boredom as he works and makes “relationships” with others. Adachi also has a few murders under his belt. The first was accidental and more of self-defense. Hey what else can you do when a virus gets really close to you, fucking shoot him I guess. Later he found he rather enjoyed it, for once he found something to kill the time. Adachi isn’t careless though, he will do research on his victims and choose a target. He may complain about it as well but better to be careful than in a jail cell.
Regarding his relationships with the people around him, Adachi does not seem keen on hanging around or depending on others, believing that true freedom lies in solitude. Being treated with empathy and kindness confuses him, due to his lack of friends in his youth. He has a lack of empathy for others, whether it be his victims or their loved ones. Don’t be fooled though, he may act like he wants to be alone, but he’s scared to get close to others. He doesn’t want to feel any sort of emotions. He doesn’t do too well under emotional stress.
