| Personality | Orville is obsessed with everything movies; different films and genres, acting methods, scoring, makeup, props, cinematography, symbolism... he never forgets even the most minor piece of trivia, can recite entire scripts on the spot, and puts a lot of thought in his analysis and critiques. As a member of the wealthier class of the island, he has the resources to pursue this interest, and even acquire film of his own to tape his own works. He has also picked up some makeup, styling and musical skills from his parents. His ability to emulate characters is not limited to what he sees on the screen; it does not take long for him to encode the mannerisms and inclinations of those he observes in real life. When not deliberately copying someone, he tends to switch between accents and dialects at random as if he is mimicking or quoting somebody else. Being autistic, he is naturally meek and awkward, but has found that by acting to mask, he can be the right guy for any situation. Notably, he behaves very childishly and innocent in front of his parents, maintaining his image of being the baby to keep out of trouble, but among his peers, he emulates well-liked people to get positive attention and appear cool. | |
