Betty is a calm and collected cat. She likes to keep things to herself and would rather suffer in silence than bother someone. She’s used to listening to the problems of other cats but has a hard time opening up about her own struggles.
When Betty was seventeen, she got dumped by her boyfriend in a rather cruel way. Betty had come to the realization, that there might be a chance of her having feelings for women as well. Unfortunately, Betty’s boyfriend wasn’t pleased with this and left her over the phone. The phone conversation left Betty as insecure as ever.
Betty’s safe space is her garden, which is located in her backyard. One night while she was just enjoying her midnight walk around the garden, she catches an intruder stealing her roses. Of course, Betty is pissed about this but is afraid of confronting the intruder. In the morning, she finds a bouquet of oddly familiar roses...

Betty is heavily inspired by my favorite Taylor Swift song Betty! (surprise surprise...). However, her story is in no way related to the story of Folklore.
Betty has a lot of friends, yet she still feels alone a lot of the time. Her brother has always been her best friend growing up.
Betty was raised to be a good girl who follows her family’s rules. Her mother is super sweet but she’s very strict when it comes to family traditions. Since Betty is from a fancy household, her mother does not want her daughter to interact with those who are “beneath her” (characters such as Rose)
When she first met Rose, Betty thought Rose was too immature and childish to be in her presence. However, Betty is a sweet girl and gave Rose a chance. Little did she know how much that decision changed her life.
