About.

They say that everyone who resides in Booty Bay comes there for a reason. While Aomora usually doesn't care much for stereotypes, even she cannot deny that this is true for her, too. A redheaded fire mage with a tumultuous emotional life, she hails from a life of nobility among the elves of Quel'Thalas, though due to personal issues, she has spent the majority of her life in Southern Stranglethorn, making a living in Booty Bay as a number of things. You may have seen her over the years with The Coverunners, or as a divinist of The Frozen Paw Clan, or most recently, aboard The Grinning Gull — that is, when she isn't socializing around the bay itself.

This character explores the themes of : fear of commitment ( When all anyone has ever done is leave you behind. ), what it takes to survive in a world that has teeth ( And the odds are stacked against you. ), and the dangers of having a soft heart ( So you build walls to protect it. )

✧ First Face : The World.

Aomora is used to life in the spotlight, and a part of her actually prefers to be the center of attention. She soaks up attention, and likes to socialize. She can come off as a strong personality due to her confidence, and people are sometimes put off by her big mouth and zero filters. She is in many ways the heart of the party when she needs, or wants, to be. Very rarely does she crack — and show the world what lies beneath her strong facade.

✧ Second Face : Close ones.

Loyal to a fault, perhaps, Aomora is not shy to tell people how she feels about them, for better or for worse. For those she cares about, this means that she is quite big on showing affection in the ways she is comfortable doing so; be it through gentle touches, words of appreciation or gift giving. If she truly appreciates someone, they will know.

But equally, she is still holding a part of herself back — her crippling self doubt and low self esteem is not something she shares with the world willingly, and when it does inevitably shine through, she is always quick to change the topic or deflect. Only those she considers family may see past that facade without her putting up too much of a fight.

✧ Third Face : True Reflection.

Contrary to how she may appear to others, when Aomora looks within herself she feels awfully small. As mentioned, her self esteem is not the best, and this only really comes out in full when she is by herself. She agonizes over mistakes she has made, wishing she could go back and change things. She doubts herself, her abilities, and her importance so much that it sometimes affects her relationships with others — do people see her the way she sees herself? As someone who is not worthy of love and respect? No matter how much she beats back those feelings, they always resurface and she is tired.

Appearance.

Upon first laying eyes on the elf, one would notice the red hooded cape she wears so fondly everywhere. It is slightly oversized, swallowing her up in a way. Undoubtedly, one would also notice her voice — a rich sound that has a pleasant ring to it. Her piercings are many, as are her tattoos. Her eyes are perhaps the most striking feature she has, though, due to their rich color. She's a short elf ( Standing 5’ 5” tall and weighing ~ 130 lbs. ), doesn't look very imposing until she starts talking — big mouth for such a small woman.

Upon closer inspection, one might notice her countless freckles, the subtle hint of muscle when she moves, and her characteristic scent.

Build. toned, hourglass

— An impressive hourglass. Aomora is by no means muscular looking, though what muscles she does have are well hidden safe for when she is tense / flexing.

— She's fit, do not mistake her soft curves for weakness.

— Aomora has burn marks on her hands and arms, her skin clearly having been damaged beyond repair there. Her sternum is speckled with lesser burn scars.

— A large, gnarly scar stretches up along her midriff. It appears to have been made by one long, strong strike.

— All scars are always glamoured when she dances, or otherwise feels like it.

— Her back is covered in a large phoenix tattoo that stretches down her arms, across her sternum and up the nape of her neck.

— All of her tattoos are made with dark brown ink, and they all glow up like fire when she channels her magic.

— Red upon red, and sprinkle in some gold. She has a soft spot for form fitting clothes and leather.

— When she is out and about, she is rarely ever seen without her oversized hooded cloak, the hood being tucked carefully over her ears. Underneath she is more often than not wearing revealing clothes of some sort.

— Long leather cloves that cover her arms and boots with a fairly sized heel to them.

— Overall, her natural scent is light, feels like summer and is very distinct. One can tell her scent apart from others with relative ease, and it is easily memorized.

— She wears perfumes on the daily, however, but prefers to use scents that aren't too synthetic. She's a fan of bold perfumes that make a statement.
