Born as the second last sibling of seven, Aomora was a handful from day one. She was unruly and it took her second elder sister’s, Liendra, help to raise her properly, as she was the only one who could calm the young elf down.
As she grew older, she never outgrew her temper, but she did grow into a fine mage. In fact, her love of fire magic only proved to be another way for Aomora to cause trouble... Aomora was eventually disowned by her parents due to her behavioral issues, effectively exiling her from her homeland.
She’s been on her own ever since, making a living as a mercenary and dancer in a bar. Wars were waged, family members lost, new ones introduced, and Aomora has not been a part of any of it.
As the years go by, Aomora grows more and more estranged from her elven homeland and her family. For the longest time, no one aside from Liendra have reached out to her. Only now, many years later, has her mother attempted to establish contact.

First Face : The World
Aomora is used to life in the spotlight, and a part of her actually prefers to be the center of attention. She soaks up attention, and likes to socialize. She can come off as a strong personality due to her confidence, and people are sometimes put off by her big mouth and zero filters. She is in many ways the heart of the party when she needs, or wants, to be. Very rarely does she crack — and show the world what lies beneath her strong facade.
Second Face : Close ones
Loyal to a fault, perhaps, Aomora is not shy to tell people how she feels about them, for better or for worse. For those she cares about, this means that she is quite big on showing affection in the ways she is comfortable doing so; be it through gentle touches, words of appreciation or gift giving. If she truly appreciates someone, they will know.
But equally, she is still holding a part of herself back — her crippling self doubt and low self esteem is not something she shares with the world willingly, and when it does inevitably shine through, she is always quick to change the topic or deflect. Only those she considers family may see past that facade without her putting up too much of a fight.
Third Face : True Reflection
Contrary to how she may appear to others, when Aomora looks within herself she feels awfully small. As mentioned, her self esteem is not the best, and this only really comes out in full when she is by herself. She agonizes over mistakes she has made, wishing she could go back and change things. She doubts herself, her abilities, and her importance so much that it sometimes affects her relationships with others — do people see her the way she sees herself? As someone who is not worthy of love and respect? No matter how much she beats back those feelings, they always resurface and she is tired.

- Aomora is basically a confident, fun-loving elf on the outside, while on the inside she struggles on the daily with repressed trauma.
- Aomora has a temper on her, too. She's quick to jump the gun and pick a fight if not reigned in, if she finds that a situation calls for it. Which she does more often than you'd think.
- Aomora suffers from a few mental conditions, namely : Abandonment issues, Hypersexuality, Thalassophobia and Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Upon first laying eyes on the elf, one would notice the red hooded cape she wears so fondly everywhere. It is slightly oversized, swallowing her up in a way. A gift from Liendra, this cloak is enchanted to level out the wearer's emotions, preventing a certain fiery elf from flying off the handle at every turn.
This cloak has become quite the signature article of clothing for Aomora. Citizens of Booty Bay especially know the look of it well.
When it comes to scars, Aomora has burn marks on her hands and arms, as well as a large, gnarly scar on her midriff, all scars are always glamoured when she dances, or otherwise feels like it.
On top of that, her mody modifications are many, and located in the following places : Her back is covered in a large phoenix tattoo that stretches down her arms, across her sternum and up the nape of her neck. From her wrists up to her elbows and her ankles up to her knees she has flames tattooed. On her left breast she has a simple heart and on her left thigh she has a flaming heart motif. All of her tattoos are made with dark brown ink, and they all glow up like fire when she channels her magic. Both of her ears are littered with rings, studs, chains and industrial bars. She has a spider bite, left side. Her right brow is pierced once, right nostril once and her tongue once. Her nipples are pierced once each, horizontally. Her belly button is pierced, and usually has a ruby flower pendant dangling.

Aomora has a lot of attack power; her fighting style is a mix between ranged, magical attacks and melee, physical and magical attacks. She has little means to defend herself or others, focusing more on delivering quick and crippling blows. She is extremely quick on her feet and agile, and can utilize multiple types of weapons if need be, namely swords, daggers, staves somewhat and chakrams.
Her magic abilities are focused around arcane fire, and she has large reserves of the stuff within her. Only, she does not tap into such things, for fire magic is known to be volatile and tied with one's emotions which, in her case, means destruction that could spiral out of her control very easily. As such, Aomora keeps a lid on her magic, which is greatly helped by her cloak putting a dampener on her emotions.

Abilities
Aomora is rather well versed in the arts of magic, especially pyromancy, although she knows how to use other arcane spells. She was taught by some of the best her homeland had to offer, and even though her lessons stopped abruptly upon her exile, she has kept up well enough with her teachings. She is therefore both taught by a tutor and self taught in her own way.
If one were to rank which spells she is best at, they would come in the following order : Arcane — with speciality in pyromancy (Advanced), Arcane — with speciality in transmutation (Intermediate).

Abilities
Belore'alah has served Aomora faithfully for years.
She is rather skilled at wielding it, though her knowledge on where to strike to deal the most damage is lacking a little, seeing as her goal is rarely to outright kill her foes but rather to cripple and disarm them. As such, she does not quite score top points in this skill.
Belore'alah has been enchanted via the ruby gem inlay at its hilt, and the blade can ignite upon a simple spell, delivering scorching strikes when needed. It is usually too clumsy to be thrown by Aomora herself, so her usual way of closing in on her enemies with it is to use quick teleportation spells to close the distance, and then thrust her sword at her enemy.

Abilities
Aomora is part taught and part self taught when it comes to dancing. Her first ever lesson was a ballet lesson, in fact, and she picked up the pace very fast. So fast, she was a skilled dancer by age nine. She has also been taught how to battle dance, and it is her second go-to form of attack. She often combines her dancing with her magic, making her a loose canon ranged combatant.
Even at range, Aomora can use her dancing in her attacks, building momentum to throw fireballs harder, for example. Once she has built up her attacks, and the fire is flowing, she looks nothing short of breath taking — her footwork is precise and deadly, and has saved her from many hard blows.

The two met when Venna's ship docked in Aomora's hometown, and the captain paid a visit to the Gilded Rose one fateful night. Aomora, on the stage at the time, locked eyes with her in the crowd and, as usual, found her by the bar after the show. As usual, she bought her target a drink, but when this became a regular occurence it slowly became clear that there was nothing 'usual' about the way Venna sought her out.
Because Venna was patient, and non-commital, did not seek more from Aomora than what she was ready to give. And Aomora had to wonder why that made her stomach turn, why her entire body was filled with nothing but yearning.

The Past : First Encounter and Impressions
Aomora met Viroz when she first came back to the Bay after being away with her former Clan for a while. She still remembers it fondly; at first they met through a mutual friend, Moonfaze, but time passed and the busy port town drew... less busy. The two would sit up till the early morning most nights, playing games and getting to know one another.
Eventually, when Aomora's mother passed, Viroz was the one who was there for her the most. Aomora learned that Viroz does harbor a heart of gold in there somewhere, though she understood that she was guarding it well, putting on a strong facade much like she herself was.
Overall, the two of them did develop a strong bond, and even though Viroz detested Aomora's at times emotional nature, they seemed to find ways to connect still.
The Present : Attitudes and Dynamic
Nowadays, the two are still going strong though time has tested their bond. Viroz went through the ringer and Aomora wasn't there for her the same was she had been, a fact that Aomora regrets sorely. She has, however, made a promise to Viroz : "I'll show ya I can do better, not by sayin' 't, but by doin' 't."
Their bond is no less strong, according to Aomora, even when their situations draw tense. Each and every time Aomora says or does the wrong thing, she feels like she is letting Viroz down. She cannot shake the feeling that she has something to make up to her best friend, however small it may feel at any given time.
In short, they are still close but events have happened that has made Aomora feel like she has neglected Viroz in her time of need. She is working on it.
The Future : Hopes and expectations
As far as future hopes and plans go, Aomora really just wants to prove herself to Viroz. She wants to make up for the time lost, and mend whatever damage is done to their friendship, if any. She wants to be someone Viroz can rely on, too — in battle, if need be. But more than anything, she wants to be someone who is ready to receive her best friend with open arms when needed, and she wants Viroz to know that she can always approach her for comfort, or anything at all.
